There are also sections on New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Maine. Of particular interest are the accounts of Lucy Mack Smith's ancestors in and around Gilsum, New Hampshire and Emma Hale Smith's ancestors in and Around Wells, Vermont.
