Corker. If the name fits, wear it. And Corker does, with pride. You would think that Corker invented positive attitude and goal setting; for when she makes a decision, her course is unalter-able. Fueled by humiliation at her fitness, Ben is determined to prove that he isn't a three-hundred-pound weakling-no easy task when his exercise consists mainly of lifting a fork to his mouth. Taking his cue from Corker, Ben sets a fitness goal that will put Darlene 1n her place.
A modem novel in an LDS setting, Corker reflects such contemporary dilemmas and choices as love, marriage, the Church, and self-discipline. It does this in a fun-filled mixture of people, problems, and personalities that will delight anyone who has ever been in love or hopes to be.
