Elder Hunter has pointed out that all of these doctrines were taught to Adam in the beginning and were perpetuated by Noah and his descendants after the flood. Therefore, the traditions in the nations are, in fact, distorted remnants of these truths as they were originally revealed by the Lord to his ancient servants and the traditions of the people, after they broke away from the truth and have been perpetuated among nations in all parts of the earth.
