The child had been unable to walk since birth, but Tolman, now professor of Biology at BYU decided to tell Harold B. Lee, who was visiting Brasil, of the child”s desire. “Faith like that does not go unrewarded,” Lee told the missionary. He later blessed the child, and the child regained the ability to walk. This story is typical of those gleaned from the book Harold B. Lee: Remembering the Miracles.
