“Getting into heaven just isn't easy,” grumbled Walter Jones as he approached the large walnut door. He figured he was the only angel stuck in that huge space between heaven and earth - certainly, he was the only one stuck there for over twenty years!

Knocking at Heaven's Door is the hilarious and entertaining story of one man's struggle to be admitted into heaven but who is not allowed there until he straightens out the entanglements he left on earth. The setting on earth surrounds the Grassy Knoll Manor, a retirement retreat for elderly eccentrics. Walter uses the peculiar antics of several of the manor's residents, without their knowing it, to help him earn his way back into heaven.

Not only is there plenty of humor to tickle the funny bone of readers of all ages, but an intriguing mystery unfolds and the romance of a young couple develops as well.

Knocking at Heaven's Door is adapted from the screenplay story of the same title and is now released as a major motion picture.
